"i felt it was good for defense"
I used this stick in college for defense and I actually liked how it felt in my hand. I also paired it with the Apex head (which I would never do again). I felt the shaft was easy to get a good grip on and easy to maneuver in my hands. I since moved on to a new stick but I still have a Triax, but it is now a composite shaft so it is much lighter. |

"Different but good"
I picked one up years ago along with the matching Wizard head. I like the unique shape, and I find it's a help in cradling especially one handed. Durability has been good as I've had no issues over the years. Strength seems fine as well. |

"Not great for defense"
I recently bought the deBeer Apex head and it was coupled with the Triax as the shaft. At first I really like it because of the unique shape but after playing with it in a few game found that it wasn't great. It makes it harder to cradle because it moves in your hand. It seems like you'd be able to grip it better but it moves around when you cradle. It may be a good Attack stick and may be accurate when shooting, but if you're a defense player, I wouldn't recommend it. |
