"Great for a beginner"
These offer great protection for a beginner who's learning the game. However they're a little bulky and constrict. Once he learns the basics of the game and is able to protect himself from checks, he should move on to lighter, smaller set. |

"Okay"
Our coach bought a bunch of these for our team and I loved them even though they were a bit big. They need more padding in the rib area. While I was playing in a game, I was standing in front of the goal when a middie took a crank shot and hit me right on the bottom rib. I had to stay out the rest of the game and the next practice but it got better. I think these are very good, cheap pads for beginners and advanced players alike. |

"Pretty good`"
These are very good pads. They are very light but are still very protective. The only thing I don't like is if you take off the forearm protectors, the shoulder caps flap around and get annoying. Other then that they"re great. Had them for 3 years now. |

"Gtreat Movement and lighteness"
I have had these pads for about 2 years I think, or the older model or something like that. They haven't failed me yet. They are first of all put together really well and no tears or anything anywhere. The one problem is that the do miss a few parts of you body if your worried about getting poked. They don't cover my bottom rib in front, and the whole back or armpit and shoulder blade area is kinda lacking. The best feature I think is the adjustable arm guard things. in the middle of the game you can adjust them in seconds to cover lots of your arm. That's the only real place I get hit hard, and having a dead arm in the middle of the game is not good. |
