"Best pads out there right now?"
STX can be hit or miss with me. They've been in the game for a long time and they have a solid, consistent lineup of gear. The STX K18 II shoulder pads are light, comfortable and easily convert to many differ ways of wearing shoulder pads. The new foam and materials they use create a very light shoulder pad that can stand up to some brutal checks from big, heavy players.
