"Good Value for Money"
To me, the Brine spartan shoulder pads are a good deal when searching for a fairly low- priced shoulder pad and you are not requiring the highest protection. They are flexible and comfortable- especially if you remove the upper arm padding. As opposed to other products, these Shoulder Pads have rather thick padding at the end of the shoulder, which makes you feel even safer. The protection against slashing is sufficient. |

"Alright"
These are okay, not great, but for the price, they're alright. These sp's are definitely not for the a-man taking all the checks though. They're okay protection, but are kinda inflexible. |

"Flexible"
I recently bought these pads, and while they may not offer the best protection, they are comfortable and offer a greater mobility then alot of the higher priced shoulder pads. I'd recommend these to beginners/intermediate players. |

"pretty good"
I like them a lot. I play attack and I've never had a problem with them. I do recommend taking the arm pad off of them though they get annoying. |

"Fairly Good"
These are by far the best shoulder pads for 40 bucks. if you are just starting out or have been playing for a few years, seriously consider them. if you have been looking at other shoulder pads in the 50 dollar range, consider taking a look at them too. They look good, protect fairly well, and will last for a while. |

"Terrible"
There is no protection. My bro plays D so he doesn't need big pads, but he took a shot to the chest and he almost had to the hospital. It wasn't a very hard shot either. DO NOT BUY! |
