"Grip peels way too easily"
I heard lots of good things about the swizzbeat from friends about "how great the grip was." I finally broke down and purchased one for 80 bucks. I used the stick for ONE practice, and the grip is peeling everywhere! After a 2nd practice there is no grip at the very bottom left at all. For the weight, it is an average shaft that is a bit lighter than your standard aluminum shaft. Strength-wise I don't know too much, because I returned it before I could test that out. |

"Beast stick"
The swizzbeat is a great shaft. I had a Beantown Limited Edition version for 2 years the grip is peeling off pretty bad but all it has is a scratch. Now they have a swizzbeat composite and swizzbeat TI, I already bought a swizzle TI so no point in getting the swizzbeat version but I fully intend on gettin the composite. |

"Great"
This a great shaft and the grip doesn't wear off that fast. I've had mine for almost 2 years and I practice a lot off the wall and there is a fair amount of grip left cuz I didn't peel it, but there is definitely not as much grip as at first. My stick has one dent from my friends Warrior Titan Pro, but other than that it is like unstoppable. But if you don't want to spend this much money but you want a great shaft just buy the normal Brine 7075 cuz basically you're paying at least a good $20 for the Mikey Powell name and the grip, but overall great. |

"It's Alright"
I've had my Swizzbeat for about one season and it's fared pretty well. It's 115,000 PSI and can hold up to most checks defenders will throw at you. I don't have a single dent in mine and I don't think I will ever get a dent in mine. The grip feels really nice and really helps you a lot when your handling the ball or shooting. The problem is how early the grip can come off. My grip started peeling in the middle of the season and it got really annoying so I just ripped the heart-beats that were peeling off. It's a little on the heavy side but overall it's an alright shaft. |

"ok"
I bought this shaft and at first it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The grip was perfect. Then after about a month all the grip wore off. The texture helped but it wasn't enough. Then also only about 1 month later, it got dented. It wasn't anything big but I hadn't even started practicing. Other people have said its a good shaft and their grip hasn't wore off. If it has grip, it's great. But once it wears off, then it is just your basic 7075 alloy shaft. |
