"STX Exo"
I bought these gloves when I first started playing lacrosse. They have lasted partway through their 4th season and I'd have to say even though they aren't the most amazing, flexible, or protective gloves ever, they do the job and are a really good deal. I like them a lot and I still have them as backups because they are still in decent condition and the only thing is that the mesh in the palms has begun to rip a little, underneath the index finger on the right hand and in the middle palm on the left hand (I am right handed mostly). I can definitely say they are way better than STX's new "entry level" gloves... |

"Average"
These are average gloves. The inside is not the most comfortable but its good. Take checks alright, need to be broken in a lot. |

"Excellent Buy"
You can't find a better value on gloves. I paid around a little over $50 for my pair, and I absolutely love them. The triple jointed fingers allows for a sweet, complete grip around the stick. Also, these gloves have a nice, tight fit that won't allow your hand to slip around much. Another positive is the padding, which works very well in protecting against stick checks. One thing I dislike about the EXO's is the slipperiness of the palms. However, with a little tape around your shaft you should be fine. Another negative is a squeaking sound that happens when you make a fist. However, despite these small shortcomings, I believe these gloves are one of the best buys on the market for someone looking for an effective, comfortable glove. |
