"Durable but Uncomfortable"
These gloves are durable strong and OK looking, but one problem they have is that they are uncomfortable they rub on my knuckles really bad while cradling. They are also not very flexible because of the cuff. I think they are made for a bigger hand just because they are Gait. They were good to me though and it will make a hard check feel like nothing. They are also good for the price.

These gloves do not fit if you have a big hand. And don't offer much protection. They have made the gloves cheaper and lighter by eliminated the plastic shell that most gloves have. They have also ripped after a week of practice for a few players on the team.

"Much improved for '04-'05"
The new model is much better than the original Hyperflex gloves. The new joints move well, add protection to the knuckles and finger joints and you can't beat them for price/value. If you haven't looked at Gait/DeBeer in a while take another look now.

These gloves are really nice. Once they are broken in. The protection in them is good I used them for a box season and you don't feel much when you where them.

"bad!"
when I saw these gloves I thought they would be like the Brine supercrosse. but I tried them out and they are really stiff. the fingers are so hard to move and the cuff is leather which makes that really stiff as well. the hyperflex shoulder pads are good though.
