"Good value and protection"
First of all, I think that the absolute best part of these pads is the value. I needed new pads since my other's sleeve broke and was looking at these for a temporary pair. I got them thinking I would use them for the remaining part of the season. I then found that they were worth keeping. The appearance was also good because it may just be me but they aren't that flashy, just simple black and white (like Flowseiden intended!). Also, they give great protection. So far, checks have never actually bruised me. They maybe rattled my arm and mat me drop the ball I was cradling but that's normal. One problem is that while they hold up well in key parts, the cover design becomes thread bare and peels within three practices. Also, the elbow straps seem to sink into your elbow no matter how much you tighten them. This doesn't affect your game, but it is annoying.I definitely love these pads! |
