"Pretty good"
These gloves are pretty good. The thumb protection is awesome...I took a shot from a pitching machine that was throwing mid-high 90's and I stopped it with my thumb, which was sandwiched between ball and titanium shaft. I had just a little bit of stiffness and jammed thumb. So I would say that the protection is pretty good. The break-in period isn't too bad, maybe a week at tops, depending on how often you do wall ball/practice to break them in. Mine only took a couple days. These are really comfy and I've been known to drive with them and use them as my ice...pounding devices for my car. |

"lacking"
I don't think they have near enough padding. My fingers get killed by shots. Also there is a wierd lining in them thats supposed to "wick" sweat away... anyway it comes out every time I take my hand out! They are well broken in out of the box and last long. I got them a full year ago and nothing is wrong with them besides the dirt and grit from sweat. if you are planning on buying these hold out for the Gladiators in December... they are equivalently priced. |

"Not Bad"
Very comfortable and lightweight, but the padding is a little too soft, these don't have the protection a goalie glove should have, but the thumbs do help a lot even if they are a little goofy looking. |
