"Protective but bulky"
Although this is a very protective pad, it didn't allow me to go into my normal stance due to bulk. Even with all the extra pads removed I still found it unnatural. I have no comment on the durability as I only used mine for a few practices before switching back to my MPG Chest Pad, so I'll just leave it at an average 3. I would recommend the STX Gladiator if your looking for maximum protection with almost no restriction on mobility. I would also recommend the MPG Chest Pad, which although lacks in protection is unmatched in mobility and is very affordable. |

"the greatest thing to hit the market!!"
I have a coach that is now on the New Jersey Pride, and his shots really hurt. The other goalie bought it and it is for the hardcore goalies that are very serious!!! I have it now and the shots to the chest you can not even feel!! You can even adjust the shoulder caps and arm pads. It is the BEST thing that hit the market! |
