This pad is great I've had it for awhile and no complaints except the time I wasn't paying attention in practice and I was standing parallel to the goal line and my friend hit me where there was no pads which is right under the arm and on the rib. |

This chest protector is SWEET! I have been using it for 3 seasons, plus camps over the past few summers. It's a little on the expensive side, but it pays for itself after your first season! |

"Very nice"
I just upgraded to this pad because my old 80's Brine basic foam pad just won't cut it anymore. This is light years ahead of that piece. Terrific protection, especially with the added sternum, belly and shoulder pads (which I have removed). The sternum pad has hard plastic plates over foam, and attaches with velcro to the inside of the pad. The pads over your sternum and heart are covered in plastic over foam, which really works well to deaden the feel of shots, and should provide extra protection for a critical area. Quite comfortable to wear and adjust. Doesn't restrict movement, and doesn't seem to ride up much. Cons: The middle straps around the ribs don't hold their adjustment after tightening (they tend to release in the buckles) so you have to knot them, or figure something else out to keep them from slipping. Overall, a terrific CP and well worth the money. Protecting your heart is not a place to skimp! |

"rivals kevlar"
This is one of the strongest goalie pads I have ever worn. You will barley feel the fastest shot through it. No velcro (thank god) only durable clips. And another feature I found to be good is it's water proof, so no more of your goalie pad soaking up water from rain and weighing 50LBS. It's pretty light, stays on you well, and looks cool. Well worth the price I paid. |
