T2, It’s Judgment Day

I got my first look earlier in the week and today it’s been photographed, in Hawaii. Kevin Leveille gave IL a hotel room photo shoot and we did our best to make the image as presentable as we could, aka, it’s been Photoshopped.

The Trojan is no more, we now have the Warrior T2. Sporting a box-style face-mask that provides a wide, less-obstructed view.

It might be a bit of time before it is publicly available, but keep an eye out for it and be sure to try it on if you get the chance. I was happy with how if felt.

Can I Get a Witness X?

Not your average offset head, the Brine Witness X is patient before dropping to the maximum depth. This head essentially dictates where you should set your pocket to hold the ball, up high.

The head still has the maximum offset for easier cradling and the ball can sit closer to the scoop without needing to worry about the pocket being illegal.

Designed for players who want more power on their release, while the head is still light and strong.

A new Emperor in our Future

The Warrior Emperor head is for use in NFHS action, with what looks like a tight design to barely meet the legal minimum measurements.

Both of these heads appear to be aimed toward those who are looking for a new head with Evo-like tendencies.

To the right is the Warrior Emperor X6, the NCAA legal version. You’ll notice it is simply 3″ wide in the throat and is pinched to 6″ at its widest point. [BattleLax]

Warrior MPG 10 Arm Guards

Other than the colors and branding, not much is different in next years’ Warrior MPG 10 Elbow Guards. There is the suggestion that a new outer material effectively reduces the pads’ weight by 10%, a seemingly worthy improvement. Then there is the use of new exclusive foams that allows air flow directly through the pads with all the same protection, but with the inner liner and outer shell getting in the way, who knows how much breathable foam will help. Warrior Goalie Guards, 3 of ‘em

Goalies will have three new options when it comes to chest protectors in 2011, if Warrior is their preferred provider. The upcoming Warrior Buzzkill Goalie Guard has all the glitz, glamor, and protection options a goalie could expect, including a touch of that Hulk green to overcome the hardest shots.

Below are the Lockdown options. The Warrior Lockdown Goalie Guard, to the left, includes added shoulder protection, similar to the Hitman shoulder pads, and some bicep coverage. The Warrior Lockdown Chest Pad is for those who expect to stop shots with their sticks and prefer a mobility focused option [BattleLax]

Blueprint becomes Reality for Brine

This new Brine Blueprint head for 2011 comes in all versions for use in NFHS only, NFHS & NCAA, and NCAA only. The naming standard will help keep these three versions apart with the regular, X, and X6 versions being offered.

Above is the NFHS only version which you’ll notice has a tighter throat. Below to the left is the X version which is legal for high school and college. Below to the right is the X6 version which can only be used for play in NCAA ruled teams.

The head has minimal material in the sidewall, so one would expect this head to be optimal for those looking for a head that is light and does not need to be super stiff. [IL]

Next years’ Warrior MPG 10 Hitman Shoulder Pads feature new colors and styling. The classic hitman style shoulder caps are refined to continue to give you range of motion plus good protection. STX’s Assaulting Gloves
